DDN is the world's largest privately held information storage company with an annual revenue of more than $150 million. The company said its hiring pace continues to keep up with rapid worldwide growth, as it looks to increase its sales and engineering staff.

Alex Bouzar, chief executive officer and co-founder of DDN, said the company's expansion is largely due to customers looking for data and cloud computing support.

"Around the world, our solutions are helping scientists achieve important discoveries, businesses bring best-selling products to market faster and more profitably, governments reduce crime, and consumers experience more fun and life-like entertainment," Bouzar added. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for computer software engineers and computer programmers are expected to grow faster than other occupations, by 21 percent, through the end of the decade. 

According to the new book "Best Jobs for the 21st Century," information technology (IT) jobs are among the fastest growing, including positions for mobile applications developers. A survey by online job recruiter Dice.com found that approximately 65 percent of hiring managers expect to add technical support staff in 2012.

The demand for professionals who have attended a health science school is also expected to continue, with the U.S. needing an additional 103,900 registered nurses every year through the decade.

Justin Hirsh, president of the recruiting firm JobPlex, told CNN that medical management jobs will also  grow due to the implementation of healthcare reform.

"With all the change happening in the system now, there is churn as well as growth. We're constantly seeing new openings in general management, finance, marketing, human resources, you name it,"  Hirsh said.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that professionals with an advanced degree can earn $500 more per week than those with a high school diploma or less.
 

The WANTED Analytics report also found that recruiters posted more than 4,400 new online job ads for marketers, including those with mobile skills, during the past 90 days.

According to the report, the volume of jobs that include knowledge of mobile applications increased as mobile websites and applications continue to become a popular business marketing strategy. Marketing skills now are included in 10 percent of all job ads for marketing professionals.

In the marketing field, the report found that mobile skills are the most in demand for positions that include product manager, business development manager and strategic consultant.

Places with the highest demand for marketing professionals with mobile experience were in Metropolitan cities that included New York, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that employment opportunities for marketing and sales managers are expected to grow by 14 percent through the end of the decade.
 

Dana Milford, site manager for Chase's mortgage documents operations, told the Monroe News Star that the company is looking for a wide range of skills, from entry level to management, and for both permanent and temporary positions.

"Chase has continued to grow in Monroe because we've been able hire and retain exceptionally talented people who make our operation a success," Milford told the news source. "We look forward to continuing that growth with the support of our future employees."

The company said it is looking to fill approximately 250 immediate jobs to support its existing operations, as well as hire an additional 160 workers in March for a project to image and house mortgage documents bought from other companies.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for business administrative service managers are expected to grow by 12 percent through the end of the decade.

WISH TV reports quality inspection service provider Stratosphere plans to create up to 225 jobs, while Archway Technology Partners, which specializes in financial software, will add up to 140 new positions through 2015. Both companies could have a variety of openings for those who have earned an online IT associate degree or have completed other IT training programs.

Tom Gray, Stratosphere chief operating officer, said the company decided to expand in Indiana due to its positive business environment.

"We continually invest in our employees, technology, equipment and facilities in order to maintain our competitive edge and are excited to have the opportunity to continue to grow and provide more jobs and training in our home state of Indiana," Gray told the news agency.

The two companies join 33 others that announced plans to locate or expand their operations in the state over the past year.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for computer and information systems managers are expected to grow by 17 percent through 2018. 

The company, which is owned by UnitedHealth Group, said that it expected to hire 170 new workers over the next 18 months,  in addition to the nearly 450 new positions that have been or still need to be filled at its Overland Park operations.

Larry C. Renfro, executive vice president of UnitedHealth Group, said the company is in need of a variety of skills.

"This is our flagship operation, featuring the latest technology and capable of processing more than 100,000 mail service prescriptions per day, about double what we currently handle at our Overland Park facility," Renfro stated. "We are adding employees in virtually every position from entry level to highly experienced, from shipper to pharmacist."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for pharmacy technicians are expected to increase by 31 percent through 2018 with prospects especially good for those who have completed an advanced training program.

The center said the free massages will be performed by a professional with massage therapy training who is licensed in the state of Arizona. Massage therapy has been proven to also help alleviate a number of physical ailments, including back and neck pain.

Preferred Pain said that potential clients who experience lower back pain or whiplash should seek treatment immediately. The clinic also is offering a 24-hour guarantee that customers will be able to make an appointment and start their rehabilitation, which often includes massage therapy, within one business day.

According to the National Institutes of Neurological Disorders, seven out of every 10 people will endure some type of back pain at some time in their lives.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that employment opportunities for those who have completed massage therapy training are expected to grow faster that the average of most other occupations, by 19 percent, through the end of the decade.

The Wichita Eagle reports that the company is looking to fill as many as 2,500 openings at its units that include Koch Pipeline Flint Hill Resources, Koch Chemical Technology Group and Koch Minerals. Professionals with career college training may have luck finding work at Koch, as the company said that the openings include information technology, accounting and other professional positions.

Jeff Morris, director of talent development for Koch Industries, told the news agency that the company is in the middle of an aggressive recruitment campaign and will also bring in more interns and students this summer due to rapid growth.

"It’s a good problem to have," Morris noted. "You’d like to be able to fill positions as quickly as you can. But we are selective and find the best we can hire. It’s not necessarily a quick catch-up."

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, professionals with an advanced degree have the potential to earn $500 more per week than those with a high school diploma or less.

Prime Therapeutics said it will lease a new facility in Eagan, a move that is expected to create approximately 300 information technology and business analyst jobs, according to the Pioneer Press.

The company, which is owned by 12 Blue Cross Blue Shield national plans, also has eight other locations across the U.S. Its services include claims processing, formulary management, pharmacy network management and mail service.

Eric Elliot, chief executive officer of Prime Therapeutics, told the news agency that the company was looking to build additional offices in other cities, but chose to expand in Eagan due to its established success in the city.

"We decided we're better off going to a place where we have a history of attracting high-quality people," Elliot added.

Company officials said they plan to move into the new facility on Buffet Way by the middle of 2012.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment opportunities for medical records and health information technicians are expected to grow by 20 percent through the end of the decade.

According to the study, commissioned by economic development agency NOVA, tech hiring is expected to outpace job growth in all other industries in Silicon Valley. Area technology companies executives said they plan to increase their IT staff by 5 percent over the next year, which could mean the local industry will add 28,000 new jobs in 2012.

Josh Williams, president of BW Research, which conducted the study for NOVA, told the Silicon Valley Mercury News that the survey also found many companies are struggling to find qualified workers.

"High tech is one of the industries you really want to be in," Williams told the news source. "“We found that 77 percent of the companies are having great difficulty or some difficulty in hiring people. The recruitment process appears to be pretty challenging.”

The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that employment opportunities for network systems and data communications analysts are expected to grow by 53 percent through the end of the decade.
