Individuals with online business bachelor’’s degrees may soon see career opportunities coming their way as the job freeze begins to thaw in small businesses.
While larger corporations may be having a more difficult time gaining back the amount of profits and workers they lost during the recession, small businesses are moving at a much quicker pace, according to CNN Money.
In the past eight months, small business employment has increase 0.8 percent, creating 150,000 new jobs since June 2009.
"Small businesses generally recover faster than larger businesses," economist Susan Woodward told the news provider. "To see these figures showing a rise in employment at small businesses is very heartening at a time when good news is scarce."
This could mean that good news is on the way for individuals who have been trying to ride out the hiring freeze.
Individuals who hold an online business bachelor’’s degree may also have an advantage when it comes to employment. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, bachelor degree holders have a higher instance of employment compared to individuals with an associate’’s degree.
