There are still a number of people looking for jobsThe job market may not be as bad as many analysts predicted, and this could be good news for individuals who are graduating from career training colleges.

The February unemployment rate revealed that the national average of jobless individuals did not sway from 9.7 percent, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Although the overall percentage didn”t change, the number of unemployed Americans climbed from 14.8 million to 14.9 million.

While these numbers are troublesome, economic experts and government officials have estimated that the number of jobs lost would be much higher.

President Obama announced that one of the major components to the number of jobs lost was the severe weather on the East Coast, which prevented construction workers from finding work.

"This morning we learned that in February our economy lost an additional 36,000 jobs," Obama told Reuters. "Now this is actually better than expected considering the severe storms all along the East Coast are estimated to have had a depressing effect on the numbers."ADNFCR-2486-ID-19654598-ADNFCR
